Noa Noa
Noa Noa offers women of all ages clothing that allows them to express their femininity in a delicate and feminine fashion.
Noa Noa’s Autumn 2010 collection centres on three themes: the classic vagabond, mix and match from the different cultures along the Great Silk Road and a modern-day interpretation of Rococo.
Noa Noa is the high street’s most intriguing cultural mix, Danish-owned, but named after Gaugin’s memoir of his life as an artist and lover in Tahiti – noa noa means “fragrant” in Tahitian.
However, Scandinavian streamlined shapes in exotic shades is not Noa Noa’s style. Instead the chain has made an art out of bohemian-lite clothes in a palette of soft blues, browns, greens and pinks. Think Renoir, not Gaugin.
