A Guide to Sale Shopping

Have you ever gone Sale shopping, and just come back with a load of rubbish, that you will never wear? I remember learning this lesson very early on in life, when I was about 15. I bought a skirt in the sale that was £5, and spent the next 3 months and about £40 trying to find something to wear with it?! Not that I’ve never made a mistake since, but I think it did stop me being a mad sale shopper.

There are a few rules you should follow when sale shopping. Next time you pick up an item, ask yourself the following questions, before you get to the till. Do I have anything in my wardrobe that will go with this? Do I really love it, or am I buying it for the sake of it? Does it fit me? It’s amazing how often I see someone wanting to buy something in a sale, when it doesn’t even fit them! Does the colour suit me, would I even be considering this if it was full price?!

On the other hand, sales are a great place to grab yourself some amazing bargains, and to add some very good basics to your wardrobe for half the price.

Ask yourself the above questions, and you could end up a sensible sale shopper!
